On July 12, 2008, the California Law
Enforcement Historical Society hosted
its Sixth Annual Police Memorabilia
Show at Cuesta College in San Luis
Obispo.
The night before the show, Gary
Hoving, hosted a get-together for
members of the Society. Everyone had
a great time and enjoyed delicious food
served up by Gary's wife and friends.

Many hours of work have gone
into making this a very
comprehensive and interesting
display of memorabilia.
The California Law Enforcement
Historical Society has put
together a mobile museum.
Funded by the San Luis Obispo
County Sheriff's Advisory Council
and donations from collectors.
The museum displays many
historical memorabilia as well as
hands on interactive items. The
museum in a work in progress
and is actively soliciting donations
of money and items for display.
A volunteer keeping his eye on
the display items. He never
moves or blinks an eye!
